Senior Site Manager

A construction company with an impressive track record is currently looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join their team in delivering a hospital extension valued at $30 million on the Bayside

The Senior Site Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and coordination of site delivery, contributing to the planning and resourcing of the project, and communicating with the extended project team to achieve project goals.

The responsibilities for the Senior Site Manager position include:

They will need to ensure that all site activities are aligned with project plans, manage subcontractor performance, and identify project risks and opportunities in a timely manner. They will also need to ensure that all aspects of the company's HSE and Quality processes and procedures are adhered to.

• Leadership of site delivery
• Contribute to the planning and resourcing of the project
• Coordinate and communicate with the extended project team to achieve project goals
• Coordinate day-to-day site activities to ensure all site undertakings are in line with project plans
• Own and communicate the short-term look ahead programme for delivery
• Manage subcontractor performance
• Identify project risks, opportunities and mitigations in a timely manner
• Ensure all aspects of the company's HSE and Quality processes and procedures are adhered to

The ideal candidate for the role should have demonstrated site experience with 3-5 years as a Site Manager with healthcare experience. They should be highly motivated and proactive, a team player, and have excellent relationship building, negotiation, and communication skills with exceptional problem-solving ability.

The candidate should also be experienced with Australian Standards and Building Codes, and relevant health and safety legislation and its implementation.
