Introduction

Brunel is looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our clients civil construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of all aspects of the project from planning to completion.

About this role

The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination and control of the project from inception to completion. This includes defining the project objectives, scope and deliverables, developing detailed plans and schedules, managing resources, budgeting and forecasting costs, monitoring progress against timelines and budgets, ensuring quality control throughout the project life cycle and managing stakeholder relationships. The successful candidate will also provide technical guidance to junior staff and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proven track record in successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
