About this role: Safety Advisor
Brunel is looking for an experienced Safety Advisor to join our team in the oil and gas industry. We are a leading global provider of innovative engineering solutions and services, and we are looking for a talented individual to join our team.
The HSE Safety Advisor will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all personnel working on our oil and gas projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing safety plans, policies, procedures, and training programs that meet applicable regulations and industry standards. They will also provide guidance to project teams on safety-related issues, investigate incidents, and monitor safety performance.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
- Extensive knowledge of relevant HSE regulations and standards
- Ability to develop effective safety plans, policies, procedures, and training programs
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field (preferred)
