Introduction
As a part of the Business Excellence & Execution Team, the R&D Data Management Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the data team and ensuring that databases are kept up to date. The primary goal of this position will be to support R&D teams in making data-driven decisions that will contribute to the development of new products or the improvement of existing ones. This position is a 3-month contract, with the possibility of an extension until December 2023. The successful candidate is expected to work out of the Montreal office, however, this position may be available for remote working.

Responsibilities

  • Generate monthly data and recommend improvements to the data flow process in order to simplify daily tasks
  • Collaborate with all brand stakeholders across the business with regards to data management
  • Recommend data flow improvements to simplify daily tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Business Excellence & Execution Team Lead
  • Responsible for data generation and process, maintaining databases up to date, and recommending data flow improvements
  • Design and generate reports and visualizations to communicate key findings and insights from data
  • Continuously evaluate and improve data management processes and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to provide data management expertise and support for R&D projects

Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, or related field; or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in data management and analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of SQL and other database languages is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
