About this role

  • Develop and maintain maintenance schedules for fixed plant equipment, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Utilize scheduling software to create and update maintenance plans, incorporating preventive maintenance activities and shutdown schedules.
  • Coordinate resources, materials, and equipment for planned maintenance activities, collaborating closely with the maintenance team.
  • Monitor maintenance performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
  • Generate reports and analysis to track maintenance KPIs and provide insights into performance trends.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in planning and scheduling for fixed plant maintenance in the mining or heavy industry sector.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as SAP, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work on a FIFO roster in Papua New Guinea.
