Financial Controller

A Financial Controller is needed at a growing Medical Device company.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing the daily office operations for the entire facility as well as supporting the Chief Financial Officer with reporting to upper management.
• ERP system management and ownership
• Ensure timely and accurate input of bill of material, payroll, price code changes and regular updates and releases of standard inventory costings for purposes of accurate inventory valuations.
• Assure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Policies. Resolve questions of GAAP and internal controls with corporate financial management.
• Coordinate activities with other departments and senior leadership.
• Maintaining an enthusiastic entrepreneurial attitude with an eagerness to grow within the company.
• Manage office operations.
• Act as a liaison to external auditors.
• Assume responsibility of business.
• Act as a mentor to junior accountants.

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably within finance.
• At least 5 years’ financial experience in a Manufacturing environment performing Cost Accounting.
• Previous financial experience managing other employees.
• High level proficiency in PC spreadsheets and ERP/MRP systems
• Demonstrated leadership as part of a cross-functional plant management team.
• GAAP experience.
