Introduction

Brunel are currently representing a global mining organisation in their search for a motivated and dynamic Electrical Reliability Engineer. As an electrical engineer you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of electrical systems, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

About this role

This role is FIFO based in the Pilbara region based on an 8:6 roster

This role is responsible for providing Electrical reliability engineering techniques, data analysis, improvement projects and defect elimination for the operational non-processing infrastructure (NPI). Key accountabilities will include:
  • Asset Health Management of High and Low voltage electrical apparatus including Transformers, Generators, Bore Pumps, Overhead, and underground reticulation
  • Maintenance Strategy Development for NPI Electrical Assets
  • Champion RCA and Defect Elimination investigations and implement identified design improvements.


Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and continual improvement focus.
  • Knowledge of relevant Mines legislations and regulations.
  • Knowledge of computer management systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Knowledge of Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Area's will be highly advantageous.
