Introduction

Brunel has an exciting long-term contract opportunity for a Contracts Administrator that will be on a remote / working from home basis. This person will be required to work Arizona-based hours.

About this role

Essential Functions:



  • Working from an owner's perspective - administration of contracts for assigned NOLA projects from conception through execution and completion.

  • Responsible for assisting with post contract administration of contract matters as assigned.

  • Receives and reviews a wide variety of contract requests, may support one or more specialized areas requiring an increased depth of knowledge.

  • Responsible for the timeous and accurate issuing of Service Orders against appropriate project cost codes

  • Identifies process and /or supplier performance issues and works with multiple parties to resolve issues.

  • Reports operationally to the Manager Staffing Contracts and the Director Project Support Services.

  • Nature of Work - Works on administrative/procedural issues and implements solutions mostly through the determination of strategy and communication with involved parties in a group or functional area.

  • Level of Interaction - Often collaborates with managers and/or functional site leaders and with external colleagues.

  • Autonomy/Decision making - Has moderate supervision and some latitude to set objectives, priorities and timelines that may impact a department or an individual work group.

  • Budgetary responsibility - Has no budget responsibility

  • Managerial responsibility - Manages a function or specific program(s) or project(s) but no people.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:



  • High School diploma or GED and five (5) years' experience in Supply Chain or the related fields of Business, Accounting, or Engineering, OR

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or the related fields of Business, Accounting, or Engineering and three (3) years' experience in Supply Chain or the related fields of Business, Accounting, or Engineering

  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of commercial contracts management

  • Proficient in the use of personal computers in a business environment: MS Word, Excel, Outlook is essential



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with contract administration of multiple projects simultaneously

  • Prior Owners' team experience preferred

  • Working as a team member (Client, EPCM & Contractors)

  • $500/day USD
