Introduction

  • The Civil Inspector will oversee and ensure the quality and safety of civil engineering projects within the company. This role involves inspecting various structures and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and specifications.

About this role

  • Inspect civil engineering projects, including structures, buildings, and other facilities, for compliance with design specifications, codes, and regulations.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to environmental and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors and project managers to discuss and resolve construction issues.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection reports and documentation.
  • Conduct soil testing, concrete testing, and other material tests to ensure the quality of construction materials.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements and corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Civil engineering.
  • Should be able to communicate in English and should be able to write reports.
  • Should have knowledge and commitment towards safety.
  • Min of 5 years’ experience working in process plants related to external, internal painting and insulation inspection activity.
  • Should have at least five shutdown experience.
  • Certification requirement –NACE level 2 and ICORR Level 2 or Equivalent.
  • Technical knowledge and Experience in specialized internal coating like BELZONA, ARC, Thermal spray, cold insulation like classic and in situ (PUF Injection) etc. Ability to read & understand specifications, engineering drawings, including ISOs, P&IDs, method statements etc.
