About this role: Buyer/Procurement Specialist
Brunel Energy is looking for an experienced Buyer/Procurement Specialist to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have 7-15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry and a working knowledge of Primavera P6
The Buyer/Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish. This includes sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing the purchasing process, and ensuring that goods are delivered on time and within budget. The Buyer/Procurement Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all purchases and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6
• Ability to negotiate contracts with suppliers
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Knowledge of purchasing processes and procedures
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
