Introduction

Our mining client is seeking an experienced Advance Rigger to join their team on a FIFO roster basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the company's mining operations, ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and dismantling of rigging equipment.

About this role

  • Conducting rigging activities in accordance with safety standards and company procedures.
  • Installing, inspecting, and maintaining rigging equipment such as cables, pulleys, and winches.
  • Collaborating with the wider team to coordinate rigging tasks and support mining operations.
  • Identifying and reporting any safety hazards or issues related to rigging activities.
  • Adhering to FIFO scheduling requirements and ensuring punctuality for rostered shifts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Rigger in mining or heavy industry settings.
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications in rigging operations.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
  • Willingness to adhere to FIFO roster schedules and travel to remote mining sites.
  • PNG National only
