As the Global HSEQ Specialist at Brunel International, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to our mission of promoting well-being, health, and safety for all our specialists worldwide. This is a dynamic and influential position that requires collaboration with regional colleagues, Together, you will establish and maintain regular meetings where the HSEQ community convenes to discuss among other things reports, improvement plans, and lessons learned.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate regular meetings with global HSEQ stakeholders to drive our mission.
  • Collaborate with regional colleagues to promote a culture of accurate incident reporting and safety awareness.
  • Work towards embedding HSEQ practices throughout the organization on a global scale.
  • Collaborate with our clients worldwide to ensure HSEQ compliance according to relevant guidelines and regulations.
  • Engage with various stakeholders, both internal and external, in this international role.
  • Conduct online meetings and site visits to diverse locations globally.
  • Report to regional management teams and hierarchically report to the Global Head of People & Culture in Amsterdam.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years (8-10 years preferred) of experience in HSEQ.
  • Industry experience is preferred, along with proficiency in English and experience dealing with cultural differences.
  • Tertiary Education in Work Health and Safety (WHS).
  • ISO 9001 Auditing qualification.
  • Experience with ISO 45001 HSE Systems.
  • Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in the Netherlands.

  • The salary depends on work experience and education and is between EUR 5300and 5800 EUR (based on a 40-hour working week);
  • Profit-sharing scheme;
  • Ability to work 32 to 40 hours per week;
