We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in energy storage and system integration technology. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of micro smart grids and experience working with energy storage technologies stored as electrons. A focus on research and development in batteries and energy storage systems is key, as is the ability to demonstrate and innovate in the field of energy.
- Conduct research and development in the field of energy storage and system integration technology, with a focus on micro smart grids.
- Utilize knowledge of energy storage technologies stored as electrons to design and develop solutions for large scale (industrial scale) projects ranging from MWe to GWe.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement in the field of energy storage.
- Support the implementation and testing of energy storage systems in demonstration and field projects.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies, and identify opportunities for new product development.
- Preferably a Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in energy storage and system integration technology.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Experience with micro smart grids and energy storage technologies stored as electrons is highly desired.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for innovation and continuous learning in the field of energy.
