What are you going to do
We are currently seeking motivated and safety focused Terminal Operators to join a busy bulk liquid terminal based at Port Botany.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a trade qualification, mechanical aptitude or experience working in an industrial environment who is looking to establish a career within the bulk liquids and terminal operations industry.
No previous terminal experience is required as full training will be provided. We are looking for reliable individuals with a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety and a willingness to learn.
- Operate pumps, valves and associated terminal equipment
- Assist with the loading and unloading of bulk liquid products
- Carry out routine inspections and operational checks
- Monitor equipment and report any faults or abnormalities
- Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping activities
- Complete operational documentation accurately
- Follow all safety, environmental and operational procedures
- Work collaboratively within a close knit team
- Participate in shift work, overtime and weekend work as required
Essential skills and knowledge
- A strong focus on workplace health and safety
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with industrial equipment
- A trade qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, Fitting, Boilermaker or similar) or experience in manufacturing, processing, logistics, mining, construction or heavy industry is highly regarded
- A current Australian Driver's Licence
- The ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
- Strong problem solving skills and a proactive attitude
- The willingness to learn new systems and processes

- First Aid qualification
