Essential skills and knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecom engineering discipline or equivalent.
- 10 years’ experience at Telecom Engineering with a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, onshore LNG facilities design, brownfield construction and operations.
- Minimum 10 years’ Oil and Gas Projects experience
- with in-depth knowledge for the following Telecom Systems:
- Transmission Networks, (MPLS, Ethernet, Packet switching technologies); IT networking experience
- LAN/WAN (Cisco switch configuration), Wireless Access Points
- CAT6 Structured Cabling, Fiber Optic Cabling and supporting equipment and infrastructures
- Public Address & General Alarm (PA/GA-Systems)
- Access Control System, & ANPR (Vehicle Access Control)
- Cisco IP Telephony / Hotline / Voice Recorder Systems
- UHF (TETRA) & VHF Radio Systems
- CCTV (Process & Security) & Fence Intrusion Detection Systems
- Experienced in supporting and delivering Projects to completion
- Excellent written and oral English skills.
- Strong communication and team-working skills. Strong organisational, planning, management and coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, Lotus Notes, etc.
