Introduction
Brunel has partnered with a growing Australian technology company on a permanent opportunity for a Product/Software Engineer. You'll work across the full product lifecycle, talking to customers, designing solutions and shipping code to production.
What are you going to do
Join a small team building a data-rich web platform, working across frontend and backend development with plenty of autonomy. Day to day, you'll work across product development, customer needs, team collaboration and ongoing platform improvements.
Responsibilities
- Build and own new product features
- Work across frontend and backend
- Talk directly with customers
- Simplify and improve the codebase
- Review code and collaborate with engineers
- Monitor and operate production services
Essential skills and knowledge
- Strong TypeScript and React experience
- Full-stack web product experience
- Experience working with SQL databases
- Track record building things from scratch
- Good product and design instincts
- Strong communication and customer skills
- Mapping or data visualisation experience advantageous
