What are you going to do

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will collaborate with various engineering disciplines and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust designs. You will play an important role in technical decision-making, risk management, and engineering execution while ensuring solutions meet performance, quality, and manufacturability standards.

What will you do?

  • Develop and improve mechanical designs for high-tech equipment and modules.
  • Translate customer and system requirements into practical engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align on deliverables and objectives.
  • Support engineering reviews, technical decision-making, and problem-solving activities.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and drive corrective actions.
  • Ensure designs comply with quality, performance, and manufacturability requirements.

Essential skills and knowledge 

You are a proactive and solution-oriented engineer who thrives in a complex high-tech environment. You enjoy collaborating with stakeholders, solving technical challenges, and contributing to innovative projects. Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams are essential for success in this role.

In addition, you have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Approximately 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
  • Experience working on ASML projects or within the ASML ecosystem.
  • Experience with mechanical design and product development in a high-tech environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • A proactive, analytical, and hands-on mindset.
  • Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are considered a strong advantage.
