Introduction

What are you going to do 

Responsibilities:

  • Reports directly to the Project Controls Team for weekly reporting but takes site direction from the Construction management team
  • Reviewing work site implementation schedules from Contractor’s, with view to corroborating progress.
  • Monitor and measure the completion of the site-based execution of Contractors works related to pipeline.
  • Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of demonstrable site-based Quantity surveying experience within a mega/large scale onshore construction pipeline projects.
  • Strong understanding of pipeline procedures and materials.
  • Sound understanding of industrial construction project execute management processes, and the monitoring and reporting of same, from a client standpoint.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills
