Essential skills and knowledge
- Certified attendance at GTT training course for design and installation of Mk III and NO 96 cargo containment systems
- BSc in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or similar
- Level II NDT certification in accordance with ISO 9712, EN 473, or equivalent
- Certification as an ISO 9001 inspector
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in a quality assurance role directly associated with either shipbuilding or with oil & gas industry construction projects, as either a shipyard employee or shipyard client.
- Experience as an owner’s or charterer’s representative in any or the (4) Shipyards, or as an employee in the production or quality assurance department in any of the (4) Shipyards
- Experience as an owner’s or charterer’s representative on an LNGC, FSRU, or FLNG project
- Experience sailing on oceangoing vessels.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills, strong skills in report writing and presentations.
- Must be capable of positive decision-making & demonstrating a high level of judgement & responsibility.
- Good communication, planning and organizational skills.
- Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and PC Skills
