Reporting to the Project Director, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a significant civil infrastructure package from planning through to completion.

Leading a multidisciplinary team of Construction Managers, Project Engineers, Supervisors, and Commercial personnel, you'll drive safe, profitable, and successful project outcomes while maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

This role will suit a proven Project Manager with experience delivering major infrastructure, energy, or civil construction projects valued at $100M+.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of a major civil infrastructure package from commencement through to completion.
  • Develop and implement project strategies to achieve safety, program, quality, and commercial objectives.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project delivery teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, procurement, contracts, variations, claims, and project risk.
  • Drive construction performance through effective planning, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Champion a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with all legislative and project requirements.
  • Oversee quality assurance, inspections, testing, and project documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance productivity, innovation, and project outcomes.

Essential skills and knowledge 

You'll be an accomplished Project Manager with a strong track record delivering large-scale civil infrastructure or renewable energy projects.

You'll bring:

  • Extensive experience delivering projects valued at $100M+.
  • Strong leadership capability with experience managing large multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent commercial acumen across contracts, forecasting, procurement, and risk management.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Outstanding stakeholder and client management skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian construction contracts including AS4000, AS2124, or similar.
  • Previous FIFO or remote project experience highly regarded.
