Introduction

Do you want to play a key role in bringing innovative high-tech products from development into manufacturing? As a Product Industrialization Engineer, you are responsible for translating product designs into stable, scalable, and efficient production processes.

What are you going to do 

  • Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and ensure products are designed for manufacturability, assembly, validation, and testing.
  • Develop and optimize production processes, equipment, tools, and manufacturing systems to support efficient and reliable production.
  • Define Equipment, Process, and Manufacturing Requirements based on product specifications and factory standards.
  • Coordinate the development, sourcing, installation, and validation of manufacturing equipment and automated test systems.
  • Perform technical risk assessments using methodologies such as pFMEA and support process validation activities including IQ, OQ, and PQ.
  • Prepare, execute, and report pilot builds and Process Performance Qualification (PPQ) runs to release processes for production.
  • Support manufacturing ramp-up activities and ensure a smooth handover to operational production teams.
  • Manage manufacturing BOMs, routing master data, and implementation of PDLM-driven design changes in factories and supplier environments.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and suppliers.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar industrialization or manufacturing engineering role.
  • Experience with development or co-development of industrial automated test equipment.
  • Experience with software design and high-level programming for industrial automation systems.
  • Knowledge of design transfer and manufacturing transfer projects.
  • Preferably experience with process validation methodologies such as pFMEA, IQ/OQ/PQ, SPC, and DfMAT.
  • Experience with manufacturing systems, technical documentation, and process optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
