Introduction

On behalf of our client, a Global Energy Company, Brunel is presently sourcing a Procurement Analyst responsible for end-to-end procurement, sourcing and contract management activities, delivering commercial value whilst supporting safe, reliable and efficient operations. This is a maternity leave cover requirement for approx 6 months, based in the Brisbane CBD.

What are you going to do 

  • Manage sourcing, procurement and contract management activities
  • Lead tender processes, commercial evaluations and supplier negotiations
  • Develop sourcing strategies that optimise value and manage risk
  • Administer contracts including extensions, variations, claims and close-out activities
  • Monitor supplier performance across safety, quality, cost and delivery
  • Provide procurement and commercial support to operational stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with Procurement Governance and Supply Chain Standards
  • Maintain contract records and support continuous improvement initiatives

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Previous Procurement and Sourcing experience
  • Experience within the Oil & Gas Energy sector will be advantageous, but not essential
  • Confident commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Previous SAP exposure will be received.
  • Relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Law, Engineering, Construction Management or similar is preferred, but not essential
  • A confident and professional communicator who is approachable, supportive and team supportive
