Introduction
Become the technical authority for critical electronic components used in advanced radar systems. As a Procured Parts Engineer, you combine deep technical expertise with supplier collaboration to ensure complex components meet the highest standards for performance, reliability, and quality.
What are you going to do
As a Procured Parts Engineer, you are technically responsible for complex procured parts and subsystems that are integrated into advanced radar systems. These components are typically custom-developed, manufactured, and tested by suppliers before becoming part of the final system.

What will you do?
- Define and maintain technical requirements for complex electronic and electro-mechanical components and subsystems.
- Support suppliers in developing, qualifying, and improving technical solutions.
- Assess design changes, technical risks, and alternative components in case of obsolescence or supply chain challenges.
- Review technical documentation, qualification reports, and test results.
- Conduct technical supplier visits and build long-term relationships with key suppliers.
- Ensure supplied products meet stringent performance, reliability, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support subsystem integration into advanced radar systems.
- Drive continuous technical improvements and contribute to future product developments.
Essential skills and knowledge
You are a technically driven professional who enjoys working at the intersection of engineering, supplier management, and stakeholder coordination. You are able to communicate effectively with both technical and commercial stakeholders, take ownership of complex challenges, and confidently influence decisions. You thrive in an international and multidisciplinary environment and are motivated by delivering high-quality results.
Additionally, you have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical engineering environment.
- Experience with electronic components, power supplies, hardware systems, industrial automation equipment, aerospace, defence, maritime, automotive, or other high-tech products.
- Experience working with suppliers, component qualification and supplier quality.
- Fluent English skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally approximately 4 times per year for supplier visits.
- Live in the EU.
