Introduction
On behalf of our client, Woodside Energy, Brunel is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a high-performing team based in the Perth CBD. This casual contract opportunity will see you contribute to the timely and accurate delivery of Payroll Services supporting a global workforce.
What are you going to do
Reporting into the Payroll Team, responsibilities include:
- Process day-to-day payroll activities and maintain payroll data accuracy
- Deliver payroll services in line with monthly payroll schedules
- Process terminations and support payroll reconciliations
- Reconcile superannuation and Single Touch Payroll (STP) activities
- Respond to payroll queries and escalate issues as required
- Ensure payroll delivery aligns with legislative and company requirements
Essential skills and knowledge
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
- Experience managing end-to-end payroll processes
- SAP or EC/ECP experience (highly desirable)
- Strong ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities
Desirable experience:
- Payroll reconciliations
- Complex payroll calculations, including overpayments and underpayments
- Superannuation calculations
