We’re hiring Offshore Structural engineer for one of our Leading MNC in Oil & Gas to join their growing team. This position is based out in Chennai.

What are you going to do 

Position: Offshore Structural Engineer;

YOE: 15 Years;

Contract: Permanent Role;

Location: Chennai.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Experienced offshore Structural Engineers. Graduate in Civil Engg / Structural Engg desired, Post Graduate in Structural Engg / Offshore Structure is preferable. Candidates conversant with SACS software for analysis / design of offshore structures. Hands on experience in performing In place / Inservice and Preservice analysis of Fixed platform Jacket & topsides / FPSO / Floater Topside Modules. Also Experience in Spectral Fatigue / Seismic, On bottom stability, Pile handling, Floatation & Upending for Jackets / platforms will be an added advantage. Experience in using SESAM / STAAD Pro / SAP2000 & FEM software’s – ANSYS / ABACUS would be an advantage. Responsible to provide inputs to structural modelers / drafting team, check 3D Model & Drawings for Engg aspects using NAVIS works / equivalent 3D Model viewers, prepare MTO / BOQ / BOM, Inputs for Weight Control report, verify other Disc data for Weight Control report. Familiar with Structural Material Grades / fabrication aspects / detailing aspects.
