Introduction

Brunel is currently seeking an experienced Material Coordinator to join one of our multinational mining clients in Timika, Papua.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, material coordination, and supply chain logistics within mining, oil & gas, heavy industry, or large industrial operations.

What are you going to do 

  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, issuance, and movement of materials to support site operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability to meet operational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and material transactions within the ERP system.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations teams to ensure timely material delivery.
  • Perform inventory reconciliation, stock verification, and cycle counts.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and inventory control processes.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies while maintaining data integrity.
  • Prepare inventory reports and support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6-9 years of experience in material coordination, warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics.
  • Previous experience within the mining, oil & gas, EPC, or heavy industrial sector is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or similar inventory management systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Rotational site in Timika.
