What are you going to do 

* Manage procurement goods, materials, and services to ensure that the operational needs are met (considering price, quality, on-time delivery) as well as continuity of supply.* Processes incoming customer requests (workflow transactions, purchase requisitions, email requests, etc.) ensuring agreed cycle time and quality standards while maintaining high Customer/user satisfaction.
* Process purchase requisitions promptly and accurately to support business needs.* Proactively follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
* Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding quotations, product availability, and order status updates.* Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), collect and organize supplier quotations.
* Evaluate and compare supplier quotations based on price, quality, and delivery terms, supporting the selection process.* Assist in negotiating pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
* Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and support the onboarding process for new vendors.* Address and resolve supplier-related issues, including delivery delays, shortages and quality discrepancies.
* Monitor order status and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.* Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures and ethical standards.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.* Support inventory planning activities to ensure material availability as required.
* Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing options.* Track and report on supplier performance and delivery reliability.
* Assist in spend analysis and reporting activities.* Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and workflows
* Maintains and updates supplier master data to ensure that the database accurate and up to date.* Monitors supplier delivery and quality performance. Escalates findings to relevant stakeholders and addresses performance issues with suppliers as necessary

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Knowledge and experience of SAP, Ariba, Procurement tools (will be an advantage)
  • Microsoft skills (excel, word processing, PP)
  • Year of Experience: 4-7 years.
  • Academics: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in technical/commercial or other education
  • Visa status: Transferable visa / NOC available
  • Available in Qatar
