Incident Control Engineer/Officer

Introduction
The Incident Control Engineer will be responsible for managing and mitigating incidents that occur within the refinery plant.
They will work closely with the Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) team to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
What are you going to do
Review of initial incident in incident management system (SAP).
Co-ordination with respective department to initiate incident investigation terms of reference (TOR)
Co-ordinate or participate in investigation process (Participation in detail investigation for significant incident).
Review the summary analysis. (SAP).
Verify the corrective action with evidences (SAP).
Closures of the incident. (SAP).
Develop and implement incident management protocols and emergency response strategies.
Investigate and analyze incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during incident response and recovery operations.
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
Provide training and guidance to staff on incident prevention and control measures.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, actions taken, and outcomes.
Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety performance.
Essential skills and knowledge
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with Diploma in Industrial Safety Management or equivalent from recognized body & NEBOSH Certificate.
12 to 15 years in Oil & Gas projects including construction, pre-com, commissioning, startup and process activities. Excellent analytical skills for different incident types/ classifications and hands on experience in incident investigation process etc.
