Introduction
On behalf of our client, we are urgently recruiting for multiple site based Hydrogeologists on a casual contract working an 8:6 Roster.
What are you going to do
- Supervise daily drill rig activities, including production, monitoring and injection bore design
- Oversee site-based pump testing and associated earthworks crews
- Conduct field hydrogeology work such as groundwater sampling, water level monitoring and bore census activities
- Undertake hydrogeological logging of drill samples
- Perform data analysis and interpretation, including test pump analysis and hydrogeological reporting
- Liaise closely with mine planning, dewatering and environmental teams to support operational water management
Essential skills and knowledge
- Tertiary qualification in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- Previous experience in a site-based hydrogeology or dewatering role (mining experience highly regarded)
- Demonstrated experience supervising drill rig operations
- Proficiency with Leapfrog or ArcGIS software advantageous
- Strong data management and interpretation skills
- Proven commitment to safety and safe work practices
