Introduction

Brunel International is seeking experienced High Voltage Electricians specialising in Heavy Mobile Equipment Maintenance to join our team supporting the introduction of electric drive trucks on site. This is an exciting opportunity to work FIFO to a goldmine site in Papua New Guinea, contributing to the next generation of mining technology.

What are you going to do 

As a High Voltage Electrician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy mobile equipment, with a particular focus on electric drive trucks, including Sany SET150S models. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of these advanced vehicles, supporting our client's transition to sustainable mining solutions. The role involves working on-site in a remote location under FIFO conditions, requiring adaptability and a commitment to safety and quality.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a High Voltage Electrician, preferably with heavy mobile equipment maintenance
  • Hands-on experience working on Sany SET150S electric drive trucks or similar heavy electric vehicles
  • Strong electrical diagnostic and repair skills, including high voltage systems
  • Ability to interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Relevant trade qualifications and licences in heavy vehicle electrical work
  • Ability to work FIFO (Fly In Fly Out) to Papua New Guinea Goldmine site
  • Strong commitment to safety standards and procedures
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as required by site operations
