As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in shaping people strategies, driving organizational change, and supporting leadership development across multiple business functions. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on HR expertise to influence business performance and employee growth.

What are you going to do 

  • Act as the trusted HR advisor for managers and employees across multiple departments.
  • Drive and support the annual HR cycle, including performance management, employee development, succession planning, and compensation processes.
  • Coach and mentor employees and managers on HR-related topics and people challenges.
  • Support promotion nominations, individual development plans, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations, including case management, sickness absence, ethics, safety, and Works Council-related topics.

Organizational Development & Change Management

  • Support and drive organizational change initiatives that contribute to business transformation.
  • Coach managers in strengthening leadership capabilities and building high-performing teams.
  • Facilitate workshops, off-site sessions, and leadership development programs.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of learning initiatives, including department-specific academies.
  • Support managers with organizational design and change-related challenges.

  • Ensure smooth execution of HR operational processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Advise on compensation and benefits-related matters.
  • Support recruitment activities and contribute to building a strong internal and external talent pipeline.
  • Monitor HR metrics, dashboards, and workforce data to provide meaningful business insights.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, processes, and best practices.

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Partner with business leaders to develop strategic workforce plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Contribute to global HR initiatives focused on leadership development, organizational effectiveness, talent attraction, onboarding, and strengthening HR core processes.
  • Represent the business in global HR projects by translating business needs into practical HR solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across all organizational levels and provide strategic guidance on people, organization, and change topics.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Studies, Psychology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a comparable HR advisory role.
  • Proven experience partnering with business leaders in a complex corporate environment.
  • Experience with performance management, talent development, succession planning, organizational change, and employee relations.
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law and experience with case management and sickness absence management.
  • Experience with HR reporting, workforce analytics, and HR dashboards.
  • Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
