Introduction
- Provides SHES leadership, governance and assurance for the Restoration Project.
- Leads implementation of LNG SHES Management Systems and provides direction to Project Management, Contractors and SHES teams to ensure safe delivery of all brownfield restoration activities while protecting people, assets, environment and business continuity.
What are you going to do
- Lead the Project SHES strategy and governance framework.
- Ensure compliance with LNG SHES Management System and regulatory requirements.
- Direct contractor SHES performance management and assurance programmes.
- Provide SHES leadership to Project Management and Operations.
- Lead strategic risk management and critical risk control verification.
- Approve Project SHES Plans, procedures and assurance programmes.
- Lead major incident investigations and organizational learning.
- Develop SHES capability, succession planning and leadership coaching.
- Drive workforce engagement, worker welfare and positive safety culture.
- Promote continuous improvement and SHES excellence throughout project execution.
Essential skills and knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in sciences, safety, health, environment security, or Engineering
- 10 years' experience in SHES in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
- Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies.
- Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
- Knowledge of relevant SHES management systems and programs
