Essential skills and knowledge
- The candidate shall hold a relevant degree from a recognized institution and, preferably, be a professionally accredited member of a recognized engineering or geospatial institute. Copies of qualification certificates shall be submitted along with the CV
- The candidate shall have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the water sector, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in ArcGIS software, specifically in the preparation of input shapefiles for groundwater modelling applications.
- The candidate shall demonstrate strong expertise in thematic mapping related to groundwater systems, including the development of maps representing water levels, water quality, and hydrogeological conditions.
- The GIS Expert shall possess proven experience in managing spatial and environmental data through online portals, including the integration and linkage of ESRI databases and web-based GIS platforms.
- The candidate shall be capable of supporting the preparation of all types of maps required for the project, on-demand and within project timelines.
- Demonstrated experience with ESRI technologies, including GeoEvent Server, GeoAnalytics Server, and ArcGIS Enterprise infrastructure, is mandatory.
- The candidate shall have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining GIS databases and online data management portals.
