Introduction
Brunel International is seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Coordinator for a 6-month contract role with the option to extend. This position is based on a fly-in fly-out (FIFO) roster to a goldmine site in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
What are you going to do
As the Fixed Plant Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of fixed plant equipment, with a particular focus on oxygen and autoclave plant. You will coordinate daily activities, ensure compliance with safety standards, and liaise with site management to optimize plant performance. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote mining environment.
Essential skills and knowledge
- Proven experience working with oxygen and autoclave plants
- Previous FIFO experience to remote mining sites, preferably in PNG
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Ability to manage maintenance schedules and troubleshoot plant issues
- Relevant trade qualifications with experience in mining, engineering or related fields
- Commitment to safety and operational excellence
