Introduction

Assist in wireline and well service work on live wells at offshore location on the Wellhead jacket or Offshore Rig.
The job also involves preventive & field maintenance of Wireline units, hydraulic pressure testing of Pressure
control equipment. Assist in preparation of redressed Sub-Surface Safety Valves (SCSSV) for downhole
installation and field redressing of wireline running/ pulling tools & pressure control equipment.
Reports to: DRILLING & COMPLETIONS (OFFSHORE).

What are you going to do

Prepares wireline Pressure control equipment of required size based on job plan, at the workboat for moving to the jacket.
Ensures that all the lifting gears have proper color code and are slinged properly for lifting.
Rig up pressure control equipment on wellhead and pressure test under the supervision of Sr. technician.
Prepares the wireline tools and equipment at the workboat based on the job plan and moves these to the wellhead.
Install the wireline tool string and equipment inside the pressure control for lowering inside the
live well under the supervision of Sr. Technician.
Fully awareness of the operation of X-Mas tree valves. The technician should be able to open or close the required X-mas tree valve when instructed. Bleeds the pressure control equipment
upon closing the
X-mas tree valve to retrieve tools and assists in dismantling of lubricator as required.
Assists in the assembly and running of Well completion equipment and tubing joints during running in of completion string at the Rig under the supervision of Sr Technician.
Assist in X-mas tree installation and its post installation pressure testing at the Rig under the supervision of Sr. Technician.
Ensures that QHSE issues are addressed within relevant activities.
Ensures all works are performed in accordance with COMPANY internal policies, procedures and standards.

Completions of Secondary (12years) Education.
2 years Mechanical training.
The ability to read, write and understand sketches and manuals well.
Good knowledge of English.
At least 5 years of experience of wireline and well completion work on jackets and rigs.
