About the Role

An opportunity exists for a Field Service Technician to join the South Australian team, supporting the maintenance and servicing of gas-powered generation assets across a diverse customer portfolio.

While the position is based in South Australia, the role involves regular travel across Australia on a rostered basis to support customer operations and projects nationwide.

You will work alongside experienced technical specialists while receiving world-class OEM training and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance activities on gas and diesel-powered generation equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults.
  • Support operational reliability and equipment performance across customer sites.
  • Complete service documentation and reporting.
  • Promote safe work practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

We are specifically seeking candidates based in South Australia. This role will involve travel across Australia on a rostered basis to support customer sites and projects.

Essential skills and knowledge 

About You

  • Mechanical trade qualification.
  • Experience working on large reciprocating engines, power generation equipment, heavy industrial machinery or similar mechanical equipment.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to travel nationally on a rostered basis.
  • Commitment to safety and delivering high-quality workmanship.
