What are you going to do 

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler / Planner to support the Plant Yates Units 8-10 Project, a 3x0 simple cycle combustion turbine facility located on a brownfield site in Newnan, Georgia.

This role is part of an active EPC project team and involves developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules to ensure successful execution. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Primavera P6, critical path scheduling, and earned value management, along with a solid understanding of EPC project workflows.

Key Responsibilities\

Scheduling & Planning

  • Develop, maintain, and update Level I & Level II project schedules
  • Lead schedule development including:
  • Fragnet identification
  • Resource loading and leveling
  • Perform and report on:
  • Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis
  • Float analysis and schedule performance
  • Track and report project progress using Earned Value Management (EVM)

Project Controls Support

  • Support project controls activities based on experience and capability
  • Assist with more complex project controls assignments as needed
  • Develop understanding of cost control processes
  • Identify schedule risks, delays, and opportunities

Analysis & Reporting

  • Build and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
  • Evaluate schedule impacts related to:
  • Scope changes
  • Resource constraints
  • Risk events
  • Support change management processes, quantifying impacts on timeline
  • Provide accurate forecasting and schedule performance insights

Essential skills and knowledge 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in project scheduling/planning within EPC or construction environments
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Critical Path Method (CPM)
  • Network diagrams (leads, lags, dependencies)
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Ability to develop and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)

  • Resource Allocation: Efficiently assign labor, equipment, and materials

Work Environment

  • Onsite role at an active power generation construction project
  • Brownfield environment at an existing facility
