  • Lead, coach, and develop the estimating team.
  • Oversee residential insurance estimates, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Manage team workloads and allocate resources effectively.
  • Review complex estimates, variations, and costings.
  • Work closely with supervisors, project managers, insurers, and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor team performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and insurer requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve estimating processes and systems.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Proven experience in residential insurance estimating.
  • Ideal for a Senior Estimator ready to take the next step into an Estimating Manager role.
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, repair scopes, and insurance claims.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.
  • A solutions-focused mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • The ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team while leading by example.
  • A passion for delivering quality outcomes and adding value to both the business and its clients
  • Must be Brisbane-based, preferably located on the northside of Brisbane
