Introduction

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Mine Services/NPI Electrician to support the maintenance of non-process infrastructure across a busy mining operation in Port Hedland. The role involves minor electrical installations, fault finding, statutory testing, fuel infrastructure maintenance and working closely with site teams to ensure reliable, safe and efficient operation

What are you going to do 

Key Responsibilities

  • Minor electrical installations and upgrades across NPI assets.
  • Fault finding and repairs on general light and power systems.
  • Statutory testing, including RCD and portable appliance testing.
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of fuel infrastructure systems.
  • Supporting broader site operations with a proactive, safety-first approach.
  • Working collaboratively with mechanical and electrical teams to maintain reliable site infrastructure.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements

  • WA Electrical Licence
  • Working at Heights.
  • CPR/LVR and First Aid.
  • High Risk Work Licence - EWP.
  • C Class Manual Driver's Licence.
  • White Card.
  • Maritime Security Identification Card
  • Strong fault-finding skills and general electrical maintenance experience.
  • Experience working on fuel infrastructure is highly regarded.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist across multiple disciplines.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
