Introduction

On behalf of our client, a World Leading Energy Company, Brunel is presently sourcing a Digital Communications Advisor, to join a fast-moving Corporate Affairs Team. This is a 'hands‑on' role for someone who enjoy turning strategy into sharp, on‑brand digital content across social media, web and owned channels. This will be a 12 month contract, Perth CBD, excellent day rate!

What are you going to do 

  • Manage Social Media Channels - Plan, schedule and publish organic content, keeping channels on-brand and on-message
  • Own Digital Publishing - Create and maintain website content, landing pages and assets in a CMS; troubleshoot and provide technical support to other publishers as needed
  • Produce Content and Creative - Including short-form video, social assets and design collateral using tools such as Canva and Adobe
  • Coordinate Agencies and Partners - Brief creative and monitoring agencies, review deliverables, and manage timelines and scopes when required
  • Support Issues and Community Management - Monitor public channels and engage or escalate as appropriate
  • Measure and Report - Maintain dashboards and translate channel data into clear, actionable insights

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Strong social media management across major platforms - Meta and LinkedIn
  • 'Hands-on' CMS / Web publishing plus a working grasp of analytics and tag/tracking concepts, ie GA4)
  • Confident content creation and design, copywriting, basic video editing, visual asset production
  • Comfort presenting performance data simply to non-technical audiences
  • Experience managing agencies and multiple stakeholders
  • Sound judgment on brand, reputation, risk and compliance
  • Exposure to advocacy, issues or crisis communications
  • Familiarity with automation and AI tools
  • Photography and videography skills
