Introduction

Brunel is currently searching for a Contracts Administrator for a long-term contract position with our mining client on a remote, work from home basis in the U.S.

What are you going to do 

The hired candidate will focus on the administration of contracts for assigned projects from conception through execution and completion. Responsible for assisting with post contract administration of contract matters as assigned. Reports operationally to the Manager Staffing Contracts and the Director Project Support Services.

Essential Functions:

  • Receives and reviews a wide variety of contract requests, may support one or more specialized areas requiring an increased depth of knowledge.
  • Responsible for the timeous and accurate issuing of Service Orders against appropriate project cost codes
  • Identifies process and /or supplier performance issues and works with multiple parties (internal and external) to resolve issues.

  • Managerial responsibility - Manages a function or specific program(s) or project(s) but no people.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5 years' experience in Supply Chain or the related fields of Business, Accounting, or Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (must have min of 5 yr exp without degree).
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of commercial contracts management.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook is essential.
  • Experience with contract administration of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Prior Owners' team experience preferred.
  • Working as a team member (Client, EPCM & Contractors).
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer without the need for sponsorship.
  • Must be willing to travel to mine sites throughout U.S. when needed, approximately 25%.

  • This position offers a flat day rate.
  • Contract is eligible to participate in our medical, dental and vision plans that will begin on your first day of employment.
  • 401K matching - 50% match, up to 3%.
  • Position will be based remotely within the U.S. on a 5 day work week, average working day is 10 hours.
  • Position includes 3 days of PTO, no paid holidays, paid for days worked only.
