Essential skills and knowledge
- Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering.
- 8 years' experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
- Demonstrate extensive experience of Mechanical construction installation hook up, pre-commissioning methods and ways of working preferably in a major LNG Project.
- Mechanical equipment and systems experience and familiarity with relevant installation construction processes and relevant industry codes.
- Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
- Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
- IT literacy: Word, Excel, PDF, skills to support reporting, reviewing and communication requirements.
- Demonstrates sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and translate approved for construction drawings.
- Ability to use (Read) Navis works (3D model)
- Ability to prepare, approve and /or verify piping fabrication plans.
- Ability to work within document control systems reviewing, consolidating, and approving technical and project documents.
- Ability to read and translate primavera schedules.
- Ability to work within advanced work packing systems.
- Ability to translate Mechanical design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, specific to onshore LNG facilities and utility systems.
