Introduction

The Cementing Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining cementing equipment and services for offshore drilling operations in Qatar.
The role includes preparing the cementing unit, mixing cement slurries, conducting pressure testing, and executing cementing operations as per the drilling program and company standards.

What are you going to do

Operate cementing units, batch mixers, and high-pressure pumps.
Mix and prepare cement slurries according to specified formulas and operational requirements.
Conduct pressure testing of casing and wellheads to ensure integrity.
Monitor and record all aspects of the cementing process, including slurry density, flow rates, and pressures.
Collaborate with the drilling team to plan and execute cementing operations effectively.
Maintain cementing equipment and perform routine checks and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Respond to emergency situations and participate in well control activities as needed.
Exposure to outdoor elements, heavy machinery, and high-pressure systems.
Requires wearing personal protective equipment and adherence to safety protocols.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in cementing operations is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in cementing operations, preferably offshore.
Knowledge of cementing equipment, materials, and the drilling process.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Valid offshore survival and firefighting certificates.
Physical fitness to meet the demands of offshore work.
