About this role: Social Performance Advisor
On behalf of our client, the largest producer of Aluminum is seeking a Social Performance Advisor to join their team. The Social Performance Advisor is a key role in the implementation and maintenance of Social Performance Management System. The role will assist in identifying and managing key social risks, impacts and opportunities as well as in building and maintaining enduring relationships that secure community and stakeholder support for the business’s strategic objectives.
The role will be pivotal in embedding key social performance processes and tools across the Australian business including social risk assessments, socio-economic knowledge bases, social impact assessments, and community and stakeholder engagement plans.
The successful candidate should have about five years’ experience in social performance and/or community relations along with outstanding skills in project management and communications (written, verbal and interpersonal). Prior experience in the resources sector and a strong knowledge of the social, economic, industry and environmental context which operates in Australia, and in particular Western Australia, would be advantageous.
- Location: Flexible working arrangements 5 days per week preferred but will consider 4 days
- Hours: Monday – Friday
- Opportunity: 9-12 months with the possibility of the position being ongoing, immediate start, $70-75 per hour
