About this role: Senior Manufacturing Planner

Their portfolio is diverse, with solutions in the fields of vascular and interventional access, interventional cardiology, surgical, anesthesia, cardiac care, interventional urology, urology, emergency medicine and respiratory care.

  • Manage daily, weekly and monthly site planning processes to support global customers on time delivery
  • Manage net requirements, past due production orders, and past due planned orders
  • Facility weekly schedule adherence reviews and supply review meetings
  • Proactively identify and problem solve material shortages impacting the build plans
  • Identify opportunities and execute projects to achieve service level, build plan and inventory objectives
  • Facilitate manufacturing planning handshake process with Manufacturing and Finance
  • Support the Sales and Operations Process (S&OP) process
  • Proactively manage backorders
  • Perform master data review and maintenance as required
  • Manage inventory to achieve targeted objectives, understand stocking strategies and statistical safety stock modeling, monitor inventory performance to plan and targets
  • Provide projections for subassemblies and finished goods inventory
  • Provide product recovery plan analysis and scenario analysis based on business issues
  • Facilitate new product introductions process – including pre-production builds, launch builds, product commercialization and cannibalization plans
  • Own and improve production planning processes, tools and systems
  • Work effectively with key business partners and customers throughout the value stream
  • Use knowledge, skills and experience to improve the cost, quality and delivery


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing planning, supply planning, demand planning Industrial Engineering or supply chain function
  • Knowledge and experience in ERP software system (QAD/SAP) - DRP, MRP, MPS
  • Extremely strong PC skills utilizing Microsoft office – Excel, Power Point, Word
  • Passionate about continuous improvement
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to make efficient decisions based on data
  • Consistently performs to a high level of accuracy in all tasks
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge & experience with Sales and Operations Planning process
  • Industrial Engineering degree / experience a plus
  • Experience in planning vertically integrated manufacturing
  • APICS certification a plus
  • Experience in driving continuous improvement and or project management
  • Strong collaboration skills: ability to build relationships and trust with cross-functional business partners
  • Possesses a sense of urgency – able to quickly react to urgent situations
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow through with focused attention to detail
