Supporting site project teams and Project Lead in the development of master schedules for the various brownfields projects to ensure completion targets and construction schedules are realistic and progress can be readily monitored and reported.Advising on any schedule issues arising and recommend improvements and mitigation actions to ensure project schedules are robust and able to be delivered within the required time frames.Assisting in the development and communication of mitigation strategies to return projects to the required delivery targets and requirements (where project progress varies from agreed targets)Undertaking detailed review and evaluation of the construction Contractors' tender and contract schedules
MS Project, creating the baseline schedule, progress updates, "look ahead" issues and rectification in the schedule, dashboard reporting and liaising with other colleagues on the projects for planning updates. Also involved in this role is the critical element of Optimising the schedule, by identifying areas of efficiency or gaps but also by presenting the schedule in interesting ways to ensure the full project teams understand the critical milestones.


The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for Capital sustaining project and remediation work during offline shutdowns and online weekly execution across site, in order to optimise the productivity of the plant through asset Improvement and Sustainability .

  • Assist with the development of shutdown procedures and documents
  • Effectively manage shutdown work flow through the company dedicated Work management system SAP
  • S4hana to assist with shutdown preparation and execution
  • Ensure shutdown resources and equipment requirements are tracked, coordinated, scheduled and communicated effectively for specified shutdowns
  • Ensure all regulatory/statutory requirements and company policies are incorporated into shutdown preparation as required
  • Development of shutdown task activities, standard work instructions and work packs
  • Ensure effective interaction with maintenance and production departments is maintained
  • Actively develop a culture of teamwork and development within Planning and Shutdown Teams
