About this role: Engineering Assistant

  • Engineering Assistant should have previous work experience in assisting Process Engineers in petrochemical facility in the UAE. (Minimum experience: 3 years);
  • Coordinated with operations for Daily Production report/Daily inventory movement and carryout reconciliation based on actual plant physical slips/tickets;
  • Maintaining and updating the weekly schedule, technical report, safety meeting report;
  • Knowledge and experience in SAP system and carrying out tasks such as creating work orders, closing work order, time sheet entries, PO/PR report, material issue report (pick list), material checking etc. (Minimum experience: 3 years);
  • Has experience in proposing/developing/testing work arounds scenarios when a vanilla solution is not available and ability to identify the issues and communicate with the technical team/ABAP team for fixing the same;
  • Management of routine transactions in MM, PP modules such that Bulk Inventory PO, Monthly process order creation, routine partial confirmation, closures;
  • Has experience in coordinating with inter disciplinary and inter company teams for various activities including monthly/yearly financial closures;
  • Manage book inventory on daily basis including IT-OT network data extraction (Plant related data extraction) and tallying with book inventory of SAP system;
  • Coordinate with engineers for various activities like Management of Change Forms, Shutdown Plans, PSV removal forms, other Drawing updating and filing;
  • IT-OT network data extraction (Plant related data extraction) based on client demand and present to the engineer in desired form of report/graphs/interpretations;
  • Experience in data migration from legacy system to SAP system and implementation experience with expertise in Inventory Management, Material Management, Process Production modules of SAP Oil & Gas solution;
  • Proficient in use of MS Windows software packages: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc. (Minimum experience with MS Office applications: 4 years);
  • Generating service request like manpower, material, and equipment’s hire and off hiring;
  • Create technical work requests, pick lists and requisitions according to the respective department requests;
  • Coordinate Maintenance PM Work Order System and tracking of service and material requests, including all documentation;
  • Complete and update work orders and PMs. Record and maintain list of work orders;
  • Collecting, verifying, and entering resource time sheets in SAP time sheet entry system. Match and verify the allocated work orders and resource codes for all employees and contractors; (Minimum experience: 3 years).


  • Minimum experience: 5 years (Petrochemical facility in the UAE);
