About this role: Business Development Manager (Hydrogen)

Here is a career defining opportunity to join an exciting engineering business that sells Hydrogen Refueling Stations and Hydrogen Storage Systems. Our client's stations and systems are all about decarbonisation – switching our clients and their end-users from petrochemical fuels to renewable ones.

The Business Development Manager plays the pivotal role in relationship management with clients – both existing and potential. The role will be responsible for both driving the successful management of existing client relationships and actively seeking out new client opportunities across industries set to be involved in the Hydrogen fuel revolution. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be the primary point of contact within the company for managing all customer focused relations. Critical to the success of this role is the ability to deeply understand customer needs, acutely assess requirements and offer the most appropriate product solution.

Requirements

• Proven existing experience within the Hydrogen fuel industry • Proven success in engineering or science-based business development role• A high degree of passion for the decarbonisation of the global economy • Strong stakeholder engagement skills at corporate, SME and government level
• Adept at negotiation with a core focus on a win-win outcome• A team player with the ability work autonomously as required
Essential Criteria - Bachelor’s degree in a technical, science, engineering and/or business field - Demonstrated success in a technical business development role
- Full Australian working rights - Fluent in English language - Ability to travel interstate to visit client sites as require
