Brunel is seeking a skilled System Consultant to join our mining software client and contribute to their ongoing success. Their proven technology suite covers every aspect of the mining process and their digital solutions are supported by a global team of more than 700 experts providing implementation, professional training, and advisory services.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize strong SQL skills to manage and manipulate data for various projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Lead data migration efforts, ensuring seamless transfer of data between systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new solutions, features, and enhancements using .NET technologies.
  • Work with ticketing systems to track, prioritize, and address user-reported issues and requests.
  • Manage and prioritize tasks within a queue system, ensuring timely completion of projects and tasks.

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience.)
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a support role.
    • Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues.
    • Demonstrated experience in data migration projects, ensuring accuracy and integrity of transferred data.
    • Proficiency in .NET development.
    • Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and tools to diagnose and resolve software and database issues.
    • Experience with ticketing systems and managing tasks in a queue-based environment.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
    • Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Good communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Previous experience in mining industry is a plus.
    • Bilingual (French) is a plus
