About the Company:

Brunel has partnered with a leading organization involved in a high profile Oil & Gas project. We are searching for a highly experienced procurement professional responsible for overseeing daily procurement operations within designated Business Units. This role will supervise Procurement Specialists to ensure adherence to procurement protocols and the achievement of optimal value for the company, encompassing predefined timelines and cost parameters.

About this role

Key Responsibilities:

Develops and executes procurement strategies aligned with Project and Business Unit objectives.

Takes ownership of the procurement plan, aligning purchased item procurement with Project schedules.

Actively participates in all project phases, from initial planning and demand assessment to construction execution, collaborating closely with project teams and engineering.

Engages in supplier selection processes to fulfill procurement needs in line with Project requirements.

Qualifies and engages in negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous terms for the Project, which may include contract establishment following Supply Chain guidelines.

Identifies adverse financial factors such as purchase price variances, product compliance issues, and delivery challenges. Works closely with relevant stakeholders, Supply Chain, and Engineers to explore alternative sourcing solutions.

Requirements

Requirements:

10+ years of supply chain experience

A degree in Procurement/Supply Chain

Exposure to the Oil and Gas industry projects/operations is a plus.
